Quick Overview

Atami Wilma 8 Pot Complete System - the best results from a pot!

Why the Wilma System produces great results!
* Frequently feeding means greater uptake of water and nutrients.
* Active hydroponics; roots do not rely on the capillary action of the growing medium.
* Free draining root zone means no nutirent buld up or water-logging.

The benefits of the Wilma Systems.
Bigger yields - plants take up more water and nutrients than hand watering pots, as they are fed little and often.
More choice - grow in soil, coco, clay or rockwool; there is a Wilma dripper for every medium.
Less hassle - the Wilma is low maintenance. Manage one nutrient solution tank for upto 20 plants and top up every couple of days - far less than hand watering.
Flexibility - pots in a Wilma are independent of one another; plants can be moved around under lights or replaced. A time is used to increase the number of feeds to suit the life stage of the plants.
Reliability - the Wilma has a reliable anti-leak design. The Wilma pots fit snugly into perfectly sized 'slots' in the tray, which in turn sits over a reservoir greatly reducing the chance of leaks.

How it works: The Wilma is an active hydro version of a drip irrigation system. Plants benefit from the accurate feeding of of active hydroponics, combined with the flexibility of growing in pots. Pots are placed on a tray above a nutrient solution tank. Plants and drippers are placed in the pots with the chosen growing medium - clay, coco, soil or rockwool. You can set the irrigation frequency with a timer, which triggers the drippers to automatically feed the plants. The nutrient solution works its way through the medium and over the roots of the plants, draining into the catchment tank and drawing oxygen into the root zone. The Wilma offers the flexibility to be used as an irrigation systems with tank to catch run off or as a fully re-circulating hydro system.

Hints & Tips Gloden Rule: Use the correct dripper for the growing medium. When growing in clay pebbles, use the flood drippers. For more absorbent media - soil, coco, grow cubes, mapito - use arrow drippers. If using clay pebbles treat the Wilma as a re-circulating hydroponic system and top up the tank every few days with half strength nutrient solution. If using an absorbent medium - like soil, coc or rockwool - treat the Wilma system with a catchment tank. The aim is to minimise run off and top up the tank with full strength nutrient solution. Use a cleaning product to prevent dripper blockage, especially in hard water areas. ATA Clean from Atami is ideal for this. Set feeds on a segmental timer: when plants are young start with 2x or 3x 15 minute feeds per day when using clay pebbles or 1x orx 2 15 minute feeds a day for absorbent medium. Increase the number of feed periods as the plant matures. Wlima lids fit onto the 11L pots and allow growers to propagate and harden off in their system.
