In a conventional reflector the lamp is mounted horizontally with the light and heat being directed downwards. A parabolic reflector has the lamp mounted vertically allowing heat to be radiated horizontally and away from the plants. This creates less heat stress to the plants and inproves overall plant health and growth.

In a grow tent the qualities of a vertical lamp reflector will create a totally different environment to a horizontal reflector as the light is more evenly distributed around the plant. This results in a more even illuminated canopy, healthier plants and significantly increased yield.
